BFA Solidarity Program 2021
In its 3rd Edition, BFA Solidário will continue to invest in supporting non-governmental and non-profit organizations that work to improve the living conditions of Angolan children in the areas of education, health and social and financial inclusion.
Launched in December 2018, BFA Solidário is a Social Responsibility Program that aims to financially support activities and strategic projects of organizations that belong to the 3rd sector, whose beneficiaries are children. This Program was created to help mitigate the problems that many children in the most vulnerable situation face, allowing greater stability both at the level of their families as well as of the communities in general.
With this initiative, BFA intends to create a significant and lasting impact in relation to the technical and financial training of organizations, as well as promoting the development of these organizations, distinguishing them and giving visibility to their best projects, thus mobilizing civil society for their causes. and shortages.
About the Program
This program consists of holding a competition whose winners are entitled to a monetary prize, which will be used to support organizations in implementing strategic projects for the development of their activities.
For the year 2021, the BFA Solidarity Program will have a maximum allocation of Kwanzas 250,000,000.00, to be distributed to a maximum number of twelve organizations, in three categories:
Up to four prizes will be awarded per category, and the value of each individual prize will be defined by the Jury, with the following limits:
a) 1st place in each category, AKZ 30,000,000.00;
b) 2nd place in each category, AKZ 20,000,000.00;
c) 3rd place in each category, AKZ 15,000,000.00;
d) 4th place in each category, AKZ 10,000,000.00.
The prize will not be awarded automatically, and may not exceed 90% of the project budget submitted to the competition. Thus, candidates must submit budgets that reflect their real needs and not budgets in which they seek to obtain the maximum possible value.
Taking into account the nature of the expenses, an amount of up to 10% of the grant may be added to cover any deviations in the execution and / or implementation of the projects.

National organizations that meet the following requirements may apply to the BFA Solidarity Program:

A jury nominated by BFA and composed of 7 elements, will evaluate the applications and reward the projects. Decisions will be made on the basis of documents and decision proposals instructed and prepared by the Social Responsibility Department, according to the following criteria:
a) Organization Development Model;
b) Financial Sustainability of the Organization;
c) Management and Governance Capacity;
d) History of Activity and Reputation;
e) Estimated impact of the project.
Applications are free, must be filled in automatically and can be submitted in two ways:
a) Online, through the BFA website: www.bfa.ao, it is mandatory to fill in all fields of the form as well as the attachment of supporting documents to the application (Project with which you are applying, letter of introduction from the organization, identification documents of those responsible for the application, tax identification number of the person responsible or of the organization, and other documents that prove necessary);
b) Delivery of a physical file at the BFA branches defined for the purpose
As it is not possible to attach the supporting documentation to the application (for online applications), candidates may send the documentation by email to the electronic address of the BFA Social Responsibility Department: email@example.com, identifying in the field the name of the candidate organization.

BFA branches defined for receiving applications with physical process:
Phase 1 Launch: the Program will be launched through a dissemination campaign, essentially informative, on digital channels in various media.
Phase 2 Applications: Applications must be submitted under the terms of the BFA Solidarity Program Regulation, by completing the Application Form, during the announced period.
Phase 3 Evaluation: the evaluation of the proposals is done in two successive stages:
Phase 4 Attribution of the Grant: the award will be made by decision of the BFA Executive Committee, based on the Final Classification Report approved by the Jury. The 24 finalists will be invited to participate in a ceremony where the 12 winners will be known and the respective prizes will be presented.
Phase 5 Contracting and execution: the process concludes with the signature of the grant and subsequent disbursement agreements.
The winning projects will be monitored by the BFA Social Responsibility Department.
